For some people, keeping their faith alive is seldom an issue. For other people, keeping their faith alive is a constant battle.
1 Peter 5:10 (KJV) “But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.”
To renew your faith, try not to question or doubt. To renew your faith, try to simply accept God is present and working in your life. Many times the pain, suffering, and adversity of life can smother ones faith to the point where faith seems to be gone. Pain, suffering, and adversity can make us doubt and ask questions when we should live in faith without any doubt.
In the hours of our darkness, we can forget Christ is always with us to help us. Consequently, we lose faith. In our times of doubt and our times of losing faith, Christ wants us to believe and trust in Him more than ever. In our darkest hours of disbelief and doubt, Christ comes to be with us to encourage us and hold us up. As we face our many trials, our job is to refuse to lose. We must be willing to hold steady and never give up or give in. When we refuse to lose in the face of darkness, Christ wins and when He wins, we win.
