Evening Devotional: Pray for One Another

We all need prayers. It is easy to pray for loved ones, friends, and family members. But praying for someone that hurt us is really hard to do.

Forgiving those that have wronged you is hard, but praying for them to be blessed is much more difficult. But that is exactly what God wants you to do, not just forgive and foget, but forgive and pray for them to be blessed.

Matthew 5:44-45 (KJV) “But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; (45) That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.”

When we pray for others , we are loving others from the heart. In praying for others we are praying for all of God’s children, because we are all part of one another.

So when you pray for someone; that same prayer may answer the prayers of many other brethren at the same time; even though they may not live in the same town or even speak the same language.

Pray in the spirit (God’s love) at all times with all kinds of prayers, asking for everything you need. To do this you must always be ready and never give up.

Pray for one another in the love that God shows each of us!
